Practical habitats conservation actions in January-February

The main project’s objective is to improve the conservation status of the common and little terns breeding populations in Lithuania by the proper maintenance of their breeding habitats within SPAs network Practical conservation actions in January-February were performed at Kretuonas lake (LTSVEB003), Nemunas delta (LTSLUB001), Novaraistis (LTSAKB001), Niedus and Veisiejai lakes (LTLAZB001). The reed stands were removed too thus shaping habitats suitable not only for terns, but as well as for waterfowls.
