National stakeholders were invited to the project launch event on November 6, 2018

The project launch event was organised on November 6, 2018, in the National Visitors Centre at the State Service for Protected Areas. Staff of the LOD presented the project, financed by the EU LIFE Programme, the key conservation, monitoring and public awareness and dissemination actions, as well as project’s targets. During the meeting the future cooperation possibilities between the protected areas administrations and project partners has been discussed.
The Project “Adjustment of key stakeholders’ capacity for improvement of Common and Little terns conservation status in Lithuania” LIFE17 NAT/LT/000545 is implemented by the Lithuanian ornithological society in cooperation with partners the State Enterprise Lithuanian Inland Waterways Authority, Nemuno Kilpos Regional Park Administration and JSC “EKO-STOMA”. The Project is funded by the EU LIFE Programme, Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania and Project partners. Project implementation: July 2018 – December 2022.
