The terns’ calendar for 2020

The Lithuanian ornithological society has published a calendar for the year 2020. The calendar is illustrated with high quality photos of tern species, which are registered in Lithuania. Photos are supplemented with the short descriptions of species, migration paths, breeding and feeding habitats and main threats. Authors of the photos have sent the pictures for the photo contest, which was organised in the frame of the project. In the calendar photos of Eglė Sukackienė, Remigijus Gegelevičius, Saulius Karalius, Simonas Minkevičius and Rimantas Stankūnas are published.
Publication has been distributed to various stakeholder groups – Ministry of Environment, State Service for Protected Areas, administration of protected areas, NGOs. The calendar will be available for members of the LOD during the Annual meeting or can be taken from the LOD Secretariat.
