Project Monitoring visit

The Project External Monitor Viktorija Maceikaitė has visited Project areas in Aukštaitija region, Kretuonas Lake, Sartai Lake and Vasaknos fishponds SPAs. During the visit the Project staff discussed management of the sites, as well as presented an overview on the impact of the practical conservation measures, which were implemented since the Project’s start, on the terns’ populations. The Monitoring visit also included financial and administrative check of the Project and overall discussion of the progress achieved.
The Project progress as well as implemented practical conservation actions were evaluated positively by the External Monitor.
